Our vision

Hampy is a self-sustaining organization providing volunteer and academic experiences to local people and foreigners with a principal goal: To improve the lifestyle and well-being of the rural and ecomically depressed populations under the concept of self-sustaining development. 

Our objectives:

  • To create self-sustaining development projects in rural and economically depressed communities in Cusco, Peru.
  • To improve the volunteer and academic experience through structured and well-organized projects.
  • To use innovative methods of teaching Spanish to foreigners.

We work to promote:

  • Physical and menthal health.
  • Education.
  • Local business development.
  • Natural resources management.

Hampy is a volunteer organization that wants to promote specific, realistic and well-designed projects with an innovative idea: "THE SHOVEL READY PROJECTS" meaning that there are various projects that are already inmotion, so the moment you  arrive you will be able to start on a project immediately!

Jorge Delgado Ochoa has been certificated in Coaching and Consulting, he is a Clinical Lab worker, Psychologist,  Volunteers Trainer and Spanish teacher, the word Hampy comes from the peruvian native language Quechua and it means "to help" and became to be the best name for a volunteer project.

Jorge leads the project providing private Spanish lessons and training programs for volunteers who really would like to make a difference in this world, he will be your mentor, adviser and friend during your stay in Cusco.

Jorge will mentor your thesis or Internship in Peru, he already mentored many internships and master thesis in Cusco, Peru.
